AIMS & OBJECTIVES
In our Basic & Advanced Tuning Fork trainings you learn how to use INNER SOUND Tuning Forks as a Sound Therapy system, offering a variety of restorative benefits at all levels – physical, mental, emotional & energetic.

Our tuning forks provide a simple, effective method for helping the body let go of physical or emotional tension that accumulate on a short or long-term basis. If you’re a therapist or practitioner, this versatile technique can enhance your existing sessions.

FOR INDIVIDUAL OR PROFESSIONAL USE
On completion of this training you will understand how to do the following:

1. Give yourself & others both short or longer tuning fork sessions depending on need
2. Distinguish which pairs of tuning forks in the INNER SOUND sets can promote movement in different segments of the body or energy ‘matrices’ (chakras)
3. Create custom relaxation sessions based on client symptoms/goals using specific guidelines for maximum benefit & results
4. Identify potential over-activation symptoms your clients might experience

   Instruction techniques include: Lecture, discussion, demonstration, hands-on practice, feedback and questions. Students will have the opportunity to experience and use INNER SOUND Tuning Forks under supervision both on themselves and others.

It is possible to attend the courses without any obligation to complete any training requirements if you are simply interested in the subject of sound therapy and wish to learn about what this system potentially offers. If you wish to purchase any of the sets of our tuning forks, you will learn how to use them on yourself, family & friends. No need to be a practitioner to benefit from this sound tool for relaxation.

COURSE CONTENT
BASIC LEVEL: History, use and effect of tuning forks as a tool in sound therapy; INNER SOUND Spiral of Fifths set, Personal and OM Tuners; sessions & guidelines; optimal body mechanics for self-care during tuning fork activation & application; 7 energy matrices (chakras) & their uses; practical experience, giving and receiving a session.

Learn how to use the 13 INNER SOUND tuning Forks & OM tuners personally and as a tailored relaxation session for others.

ADVANCED LEVEL: Develops your knowledge & experience in the use of INNER SOUND tuning forks. Details covering the 21 INNER SOUND ‘motifs’ each providing a restorative focus; developing sessions to promote a variety of physical, emotional, mental & energetic themes.

CERTIFICATION
Certification is available for both the Basic and Advanced Levels. All Practitioner certificates are issued by the School for INNER SOUND, dba of Inner Sound International, based in Seattle, Washington, USA. To complete the Certification process you will be required to complete a minimum number of case studies, submit multiple choice answers for each training (provided with course material), periodically submit videos demonstrating mastery of activation and application technique, and conduct a course assessment interview by video conference with Arden Wilken, Director of the School for INNER SOUND and co-founder of INNER SOUND.

Once certified as an INNER SOUND TUNING FORK PRACTITIONER, Practitioners are also eligible for membership in the INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION of SOUND THERAPY.
After completing both trainings, the term ‘Trained in INNER SOUND Tuning Forks‘ can be used in advertising while working on the Practitioner Certifications.
